Welcome to November! This time of year goes really fast – Christmas will be here before you know it! Speaking of Christmas, what are your favorite holiday traditions? Ours have changed since our children are grown and on their own, but we do have a new tradition that we started last year. My daughter and I take a weekend in early December and go to a nearby town, Missoula, Montana for a weekend shopping trip. Last year we went for one night, this year I think we will stay two nights. We get a room in a reasonable hotel suite. We have nice dinners out and spend the days shopping, trying to finish our Christmas shopping in that one trip. It’s so nice to have that mother-daughter time! How about you? Do you have any special holiday traditions to share?
Today’s outfit would be an easy outfit to put together with items you probably already have in your closet. My black cropped sweater is new this year – from my favorite local boutique, Beautiful Life Clothing. You can wear it off both shoulders, or off one shoulder. It is not available on their site anymore, but I have linked a very similar one in the widgets below.
I paired it with a pair of faded distressed jeans that I have had in my closet, but it would also look cute with white jeans or even black jeans for a more dramatic look. You could add a black pencil skirt and dress this outfit up for the holidays!
My necklace and bracelet are a few years old from Ann Taylor. I still love a statement necklace, and this is one of my favorite all time necklaces.
My handbag is a few years old from a local boutique. I love the white sheepskin on the front of the bag.
