Hello, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a productive one – I got started on my Christmas shopping! With Thanksgiving coming so late this year, I’m already feeling the pressure. Once Thanksgiving hits, Christmas will be here before you know it. I like to have all the gifts that I send out of state purchased by December 1st so they can get mailed early. I had good luck this weekend – the store are brimming with merchandise for the Christmas season.

Today on the blog I’m showing you how to style a basic sweater dress three different ways. This sweater dress is from Loft, and my favorite feature on it are the tie sleeves. It’s a warm, comfortable, soft dress and with it’s classic design, I will get many years wear out of this dress.

I styled it first with black tights, black over the knee boots and a sparkly silver pendant necklace and earrings. I carried my classic Coach Selena handbag.

For the next look, I swapped my over the knee boots for burgundy booties, added a burgundy floral scarf and carried a burgundy velvet clutch.

This last look is a little more casual, and I think it is my favorite! I styled the dress with a grey animal print scarf, this grey crossbody handbag and grey booties.
