Hello Friends! How are you all doing with your holiday preparations? I took a hiatus from the blog last week because I was just plain busy! My daughter and I had our girl’s holiday weekend the weekend before last – and it was so much fun, but I came home to laundry and all the weekend chores that didn’t get done while I was gone. My sweet grandson stayed with us last week while his Mom was working out of town. It was so much fun to have him, but it’s been awhile since I’ve had a youngster to take care of. He is such a mature and sweet 8 year old, and I would not give up the opportunity to take care of him for the world. He loves to read, and loves video games and board games. So we had a fun, but busy week! On top of that, I’m the Director of Advertising for our local newspaper, and we are up to our necks with Christmas ads. This is my favorite time of year at the newspaper, and I can’t even believe this is my 38th Christmas working there.
I am back today with this Fair Isle Christmas sweater from Loft. This sweater is 100% cotton, and soft and cozy. It’s perfect for the holiday season.
Today I paired it with these dark wash jeggings from Chicos. When I purchased mine, they were on sale for $49, so I have the light wash and dark wash. The sales clerk suggested sizing down one size, because they have alot of stretch. These are size 0; I’m usually a 1 in Chico’s sizing.
My booties are from Walmart, and they were $14.99. I love them, they are so comfortable, and with a rubber sole, they are almost slip resistant. Here is the link.
This outfit didn’t require much jewelry, and I carried my Coach Selena handbag.
